I like how you handled the body copy and the placement of the quote. I would move that bottom quotation mark after "I Love It" over so that the "T" in IT rests under the E and quotation mark hangs out in the margin.
Also have you tried knocking the white out of your marquee in your logo and making the marquee into a white outline with all of the internals (Sig Sam's, Hanger, etc), white as well? That way you could put a subtle black gradient onto the bottom of the picture and then make all your body text white and move it up over the picture if you're struggling with that bottom border.
Just a big mess of ideas, let me know if any of that made no sense. About to update my blog with some of the revisions you pitched me.
